NBA Training Camps Postponed

September 23, 2011 Leave a comment Go to comments

I knew sooner or later it was coming, maybe a part of me was in denial but I couldn’t help it. Now my nightmare is looking to become a reality. Today the NBA announced they have postponed training camps  and 43 preseason games that were to be played from October 9th-15th. As it stands right now the Players Union and the Owners are still nowhere close to any sort of deal that would save the entire 2011-2012 NBA season. Most expert NBA analysts feel that there “will” be a season that consist of 50 games. To be honest with you I don’t have much faith in any of this, if the entire season was lost I would not be surprised. This time around NBA Players have/are taking up other options and are going over seas to play basketball during the lockout. The list will continue to grow the longer the lockout remains unsettled. Thanks goodness for NCAA Basketball, it’ll definitely hold me over for the time being.
