Redskins Bench Grossman, Will Start John Beck at QB

The Washington Redskins have announced that Rex Grossman is no longer the starting QB and will be going ahead with John Beck this Sunday for their game against the Carolina Panthers. After throwing 4 interceptions in a 20-13 loss against NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles, Grossman was pulled from the game in favour for John Beck. Beck led the Redskins on a 4th qtr touchdown drive to bring them within 7 but that was as close as they got.

    Thing is the players supported Grossman-which might tell you that the Redskin’s receivers aren’t thrilled about Beck. We’ll see. Can’t help but think that, (Shanahan being Shanahan), he just might bench Beck if he falters.

      that’s right, Santana Moss was one of the first players to speak out publicly saying that Grossman is the man for this team. Should be interesting this Sunday.
