Pat Summitt Steps Down

The legendary and most winningest coach in NCAA Basketball both men’s and women’s is stepping aside from Tennessee today. A statement was announced by the University announcing the move, Summitt will now report to the Athletic Director along with helping the womens program that she coached to 8 National Basketball titles in 38 years of coaching. Coach Summitt was diagnosed with early onset Dementia, a type of Alzheimers less than a year ago. Her successor Holly Warrick has been an Assistant Coach to Summit for the past 27 years, as well as being a 3 time All-American while playing at Tennessee under Summitt..
