SPORTS: Lance Armstrong Confesses

After 10 years of being  denying that he has never taken PED’s (Performance Enhancing Drugs), cyclist Lance Armstrong finally confesses that he had used the drugs to win the Tour de France. The confeesion was made during the taping of an interview with Oprah which will air this Thursday on Orprah’s network. Read more….

SPORTS: Nike Drops Lance Armstrong

This morning Nike has announced that they have dropped cyclist Lance Armstrong. In a statement released by the company they said “Due to the seemingly insurmountable evidence that Lance Armstrong participated in doping and misled Nike for more than a decade, it is with great sadness that we have terminated our contract with him.”, they also stated “Nike does not condone the use of illegal performance enhancing drugs in any manner. Nike plans to continue support of the Livestrong initiatives created to unite, inspire and empower people affected by cancer.“. Read more ….

Calvin Johnson To Be on Madden 13 Cover

So it has been decided, much to the she-grin of all Detroit Lions fans around the world. Calvin Johnson is the new cover athlete for the upcoming Madden 13. Johnson beat out Carolina Panthers QB Cam Newton, the announcement was made yesterday at Times Square in New York City on ESPN’s show Sports Nation, Of course with this honour comes a huge black cloud of the “Madden Curse”. Many athletes who have been on the cover of Madden in the past have sustained major injuries in that same season. I guess only time will tell if the curse catches up with Calvatron.

Joe Budden on ESPN 1st Take

Slaughter House’s own Joe Budden was on ESPN’s show 1st Take this morning after calling out Skip Bayless on Twitter saying that they should have a rapper on the show who actually knows sports. Well the invite was sent and Joe accepted, watch as he sits down with Skip and Stephen A. Smith. Check the videos for the showdown.

Bosh Confronts Skip Bayless

So about midway thru the NBA Season, Skip Bayless from ESPN’s “First Take” started Chris Bosh “Bosh Spice“. This all due to his so called “soft” play as a NBA big man. On Wednesday morning Bosh got a chance to confront Skip on First Take. Check out the video to see how it all went down. Bosh also goes on  to talk about what the Heat must do to win it all next season (when ever that is going to be).
