New Orleans Wins NBA Draft Lottery

The New Orleans Hornets were the big winners last night in New York City for the NBA Draft Lottery. They one the number 1 overall pick for the upcoming NBA Draft to be held in late June. The last time the Hornets franchise had the top pick in the draft is when they were in Charlotte and they drafted Larry Johnson from UNLV back in 1991. This years  top player in the draft is Kentucky freshman Anthony Davis, who was also the Player of the Year in the NCAA last season along with helping to lead Kentucky to a National Title.
